How Central Bank spent N670 billion because of coronavirus in Nigeria


According to Allafrica, the Director, Development Finance Department, Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Yila Yusuf, disclosed recently in an interview on how the central bank has spent N670 billion to cushion the impact of coronavirus in Nigeria.

“The central bank released a stimulus package worth N3.5 trillion to cushion the impact of covid-19 and as we speak today, we have provided funding in excess of N670 billion across various sectors.”

He also noted that the sectors that benefitted from the fund includes; agriculture, manufacturing and services.
