Qatar Government apologizes for forcibly strip searching and examining of female passengers.
The government has apologized after authorities forcibly examined female airline passengers from Qatar Airways flight to Australia.
This was reported to have happened because the authorities were trying to identify who might have given birth to a newborn baby found abandoned at the airport earlier this month.
The Government has been under pressure for the act, and has issued an apology after the Australian government condemned the searches.
Qatar said it has begun an investigation into the treatment of the women who were taking Qatar Airways Flight 908 to Sydney on the 2nd of October.
