NATO ARGUES OVER SENDING TROOPS TO UKRAINE

NATO countries are divided over sending troops to Ukraine, with Poland’s President stating, ‘such decisions absolutely do not exist.’

According to AFP: Chancellor Scholtz rejected the idea of sending NATO troops to Ukraine as the Kremlin warned it would lead to a war with every NATO country.

Scholtz: “What was agreed from the beginning among ourselves and with each other also applies to the future, namely that there will be no soldiers on Ukrainian soil sent there by European states or NATO states.”

Moreso according to Nexta, the Polish President Duda had this to say after their meeting “If we are talking about providing specific aid, individual countries decide what type of aid they specifically provide to Ukraine. A heated discussion took place about sending soldiers to Ukraine, and there was no mutual understanding on that issue. There are different opinions. But I want to point out that there are absolutely no such solutions.”

However, Greece’s Prime Minister also stated that deploying European NATO forces to Ukraine is not currently under consideration.

Recall that President Vladimir Putin had earlier warned about NATO sending any troop to Ukraine, that if it is done that Russia will respond with force.

Well, he even made more statements saying that once NATO deploys troops to Ukraine, that Russia will launch war with NATO and its allied nations.

Other reports have it that Poland is specifically not finding it interesting at all , because if Russia can potentially target them immediately the war starts.
