House votes to increase stimulus check to $2,000. Now it is headed to the senate for its approval.
Almost all the Democrats are said to have voted while most Republicans have voted against it.
According to Nancy Pelosi the Speaker of the House, she said that “the House and the President are in agreement: we must deliver $2000 checks to American families struggling this holiday season.
