Chelsea is in talks to sign 18yr old Omari Kellyman
Chelsea is in talks to sign Aston Villa’s 18-year-old attacking prospect Omari Kellyman.
Kellyman, valued at £20 million, can play in various attacking positions, similar to Kai Havertz.
The teenager made his Premier League debut in April and is seen as a big prospect inside Villa Park.Chelsea is also discussing personal terms with Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán, who could be worth up to £40 million.
Durán’s future is linked to Villa signing Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen, who is expected to join Villa for £37.5 million.
Chelsea is also interested in other striker targets, including Atlético Madrid’s Samu Omorodion and Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has emphasized the need for his team to show competitive edge when closing out matches, highlighting the importance of mental toughness and resilience.
Meanwhile, Villa is looking to trade players to comply with profit and sustainability rules, with Douglas Luiz expected to join Juventus and Tim Iroegbunam joining Everton.
Chelsea is also in talks with Crystal Palace over their move for £60 million-rated Michael Olise, with Palace preferring a straight cash transfer but open to a deal that includes players on loan.
Beyond these players, Chelsea has also been credited with interest in other young Aston Villa academy talents, including winger Kadan Young (18), attacking midfielder Jamaldeen Jimoh (17), and right-back/center-back Triston Rowe.
However, the primary focus appears to be on signing Kellyman and potentially Durán from the Villa first team.
