Jay Z, also known as Shawn Carter, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer.

He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 100 million records sold worldwide. Jay Z began his career in the mid-1990s as a member of the rap group Roc-A-Fella Records, and released his debut album “Reasonable Doubt” in 1996.
