Mother of Jay Slater that went missing in Tenerife commends Police efforts
Debbie Duncan, the mother of Jay Slater, a 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer missing in Tenerife, expressed her belief that the Spanish authorities have escalated their search efforts as the hunt reaches its sixth day.
Duncan, who flew to the island a day after her son disappeared, spent eight hours at a police station where she was briefed on the detailed search plans. She remarked, “I think it’s been stepped up,” emphasizing the significance of the intensified search.

Search efforts in the Rural De Teno natural park are ongoing, with search teams focusing on three specific areas covering a vast area of 30 square kilometers. The Spanish authorities have deployed a significant number of personnel and resources to locate Jay, including helicopters and drones.
