Mike Tyson is a former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. He was born on June 30, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York City. 

Tyson is regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time and reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990.

He won his first 19 professional fights by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. In addition to his many sporting accomplishments, his outrageous and controversial behavior in the ring and in his private life has been widely reported. 

Tyson’s personal and private life was documented in a six-episode television series on Fox Sports 1 entitled Being: Mike Tyson. In November 2013, Tyson’s Undisputed Truth was published, which appeared on The New York Times Best Seller list.

Tyson lost two world title defense fights and lost a total of four titles in these fights. He lost to Buster Douglas on February 11, 1990, and to Evander Holyfield on November 9, 1996.

Mike Tyson has six biological children and one stepdaughter. He has been married three times and has children with three different women. Tyson’s first wife, Robin Givens, did not have any children with him.
