Checking Glo Data Balance

To check your Glo data balance, follow these steps:

Step 1: Dial *312# on your Glo line.

Step 2: A menu will appear on your screen with different options.

Step 3: Select the option for “Check Data Balance” by typing 7 and after then press send

Step 4: Wait for a moment, and your data balance, will be displayed on your screen including your current data plans and how many minutes you have browsed so far with your current data subscription.

Note: Glo may also send you a text message with your data balance information.

Alternatively, you simply dial *323# and your data balance will be displayed to you.

Checking Glo Airtime Balance

To check your Glo airtime balance, you can use either of the following methods:

Method 1: Using USSD Code

Step 1: Dial *310# on your Glo line.

Step 2: You will get an option on your screen prompting you to select “1” for the main balance and “2” for the bonus balance

Step 3: If you select 1, it will show you your current Airtime balance and also its validity period.

Method 2: Via Text Message

Step 1: Compose a new text message.

Step 2: Type “BAL” (without quotes) as the message.

Step 3: Send the message to 124.

Step 4: You will receive a text message with your airtime balance.

Note: You will be charged about N4 for this service

Glo Night Plan

The Glo night plan is very affordable and many people tend s to subscribe to it. Please understand that the night plan will only be active from 12 am to 5 am in the morning. 

The night plans are as cheap as from N25 to N500 and with this, you can get from 250Mb to up to 3GB of data.

To subscribe to the night plan follow these steps:

  • Dial *777# on your phone
  • You will receive a prompt, reply with 1 (data) and send
  • You will get another prompt, reply 1 again (Buy data) and send
  • For the next prompt select 1 (Autorenewal) or 2 (one-off)
  • For the next prompt, reply with 8 (Night and weekend plans) and send
  • For the last stage, reply with any of the numbers between 1 to 6 depending on the amount of data you want to buy for the night plan
