Jonathan Edward Bernthal, also popularly known as Jon Bernthal, is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Shane Walsh in the AMC television series “The Walking Dead” (2011–2012), Frank Castle / The Punisher in the Netflix television series “The Punisher” (2017–2019), and Billy Russo / Jigsaw in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film “The Defenders” (2017) and the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” (2021).
